Accident Compensation Appeal Authority
The Accident Compensation Appeal Authority hears appeals under the repealed Accident Compensation Act 1982.
If you apply for compensation and are unhappy about the Accident Compensation Corporation's (ACC) decision on your claim, the first step is to ask ACC to review its decision.
If you are still unsatisfied with ACC's review findings, and feel you have been treated unfairly under the repealed Accident Compensation Act 1982, you can apply to the Accident Compensation Appeal Authority to review the decision.
Important
Appeals made under the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Act 2001 are heard by the Accident Compensation Appeals District Court Registry.
