How to request a review of a standards committee decision

To request a review by the Legal Complaints Review Officer you must first have laid a complaint with a standards committee and received a decision.

Follow these steps to request a review of that decision.

  1. Complete an application for review form. The application must be lodged with us within 30 working days of the standards committee’s decision. Your application must be accompanied by the $30.67 fee and a copy of the standards committee decision.

  2. Send your completed application, with a copy of the standards committee decision and application fee to:

You’ll receive acknowledgement of your application within a few working days, and information about how the review will proceed.
