The Real Estate Agents Disciplinary Tribunal deals with disciplinary charges, appeals against decisions of a Committee and requests for reviews of decisions made by the Registrar.
The Real Estate Agents Disciplinary Tribunal deals with three main types of applications.
Disciplinary charges
In serious cases involving alleged misconduct, a Complaints Assessment Committee can refer the matter to the Tribunal by laying and prosecuting a charge before the Tribunal. The Committee can also make an application to the Tribunal for the suspension of a licensee, pending the hearing of a charge.
Appeals against decisions by a Complaints Assessment Committee
A person affected by a decision of a Complaints Assessment Committee may appeal to the Tribunal against the Committee’s decision.

Requesting a review against a decision of the Registrar
Any person adversely affected by a decision of the Registrar can apply to the Tribunal for a review of that decision.
